Ishasha is the Southern tip of Queen Elisabeth National Park. It flanks the Ishasha River which is also the boarder the Democration Republic of Congo. There is a camp site just at the River - Ishasha River camp. The river is full of hippos. Buffalo, kobs and topi are common. ANd this is where you cansee the famous tree climbing lions.
The distance to Ishasha River Camp for the main road is 84 km. With an early start you can make a return trip to Ishasha from Mweya in one day (around 200 km driving).
